You’ll be seeing a lot more ModCloth from me now that it’s nearing spring and summer – my two favorite seasons to shop the brand. I’ve already picked up a few things I’m super excited about so I thought I’d show you and give you some info!
The first item is the Western Whimsy Button Up Top and I love it with some high waisted jeans (this pair is from ASOS Curve … my trusty Ridleys!). I tied a cute little vintage handkerchief in my pony tail and voila – instant June Carter Cash vibes. I’m wearing a 3X and it’s the perfect relaxed fit.
It may be a little early for swimwear but I like to stock up – a ton of bathing suits come out in the early spring and are often sold out by Summer.
This two piece suit from ModCloth immediately caught my eye and I bought it when it was 39 degrees out. How’s that for an impulse buy? I love the black piping on the bust and around the hips. The straps are adjustable (either halter or a tank fit or a bandeau fit) and the top is very long lined. I sized down up top (I have a small bust) to a 2X and chose a 3X for my bottom. Honestly, I think I could have also done a 1X up top but this fits very comfortable and I’m in no danger of a nip slip!
